Weddings & Honeymoons
An Unforgettably Romantic Bahamas Wedding!
I just wanted to write you a short note and tell you about our experience at the hotel.
I must say that it exceeded all of our expectations. The hotel was great, the food was amazing and the staff super friendly. All of our guests were very happy and expressed their desire to come back next year for our 1st wedding anniversary!
Laverne was a big part of making our big day such a hit! We will be forever grateful for her great work and support. She ensured that everything went smooth and problem free and eliminated any worry in me. I just wanted you to know that you've got a great wedding planner!

It’s hard to imagine anything more romantic than an island wedding! Say your vows on the beach, harbor dock, or at our garden gazebo. We’ve perfected the concept of Bahamas destination weddings by providing a beautiful setting as well as our in-house complimentary wedding coordinator to assist you through this exciting stage of your life.
How to Reserve your Date
We make it easy to reserve the date for your event, as well as all the guest rooms you will need to accommodate your friends and family. All that is required is a non-refundable full payment of $1199 for the Wedding Ceremony Package. A deposit of one night’s room rate, per room, will reserve your hotel rooms. The room deposit is refundable up until 72 hours prior to arrival. Special group room rates are available for your wedding guests and your wedding coordinator will be delighted to assist you with special group rates for your guests.
Your Wedding Reception At No Additional Charge
The resort will reserve your group their own tables in the restaurant (evenings only). You may pre-order your dinner selections from the chef’s signature menu for all in-house guests at no additional charge! Your guests will enjoy a four course dinner that includes appetizer, salad or soup, entrée, and dessert. Unlimited house brand cocktails are also included! (There is an additional charge for “outside” guests.) *Please note that Harbourview Restaurant closes seasonally, between September and December, and therefore, the Captain’s Table Restaurant will be available.) The restaurant is also closed on Sundays throughout the year.
Enhance your Special Occasion
Our weddings can be as simple or detailed as you wish. The Wedding Package, above, is the simple version. You may add enhancements to that package. A private, outdoor venue and catering is also available. Charges are based on your selections for the event. At your request, a catering menu will be provided. Additional options include live music, entertainment, tenting, videography, floral arrangements, custom wedding cakes and custom linens & décor. Let us customize your special day! We do not provide transportation; therefore, our rates do not include the airfare or transfers.
Cruise Passenger Wedding Request
You may not be able to have a “legal” wedding in The Bahamas as part of a cruise itinerary. Below, please review the information which outlines the requirements to obtain a Marriage License in the Bahamas. The government requires that you are actually in The Bahamas for a certain minimum amount of time (48 business hours) prior to the ceremony.
If you would like a “mock” ceremony at our resort, we can certainly arrange that for you. However, it would be without the inclusion of any legal documentation or status. There is no reduction in price for any unused or unwanted inclusions of the package. Additionally, since the resort is an All-Inclusive and none of your party will be registered hotel guests, all attendees would have to purchase a “1/2 Day Resort Pass.” This will cost $55 per person, and will provide access to all of the public areas of the resort, including use of the pool and beach. It will include food and beverages (house-brand alcoholic and non-alcoholic) in Captain’s Table Buffet Restaurant and Wahoo’s Poolside Bar & Grille.
Peak Holiday Weddings
Please be advised that Paradise Island Harbour Resort cannot facilitate any weddings during the period of December 24th through January 4th. The Bahamas Registrar’s Office is closed during this holiday period and island officiants have holiday commitments. The last pre-holiday wedding can take place on December 23rd, and the 1st post-holiday wedding date that we would be able to offer is January 5th.
